As the final quarter of 2020 wrapped up, Australian Android users showed their love for sports games with significant engagement and download numbers. With data sourced from Sensor Tower, we're taking a closer look at how the top sports games performed during this period.

This classic cue sports game remained a favorite, ending the year on a high note. In the last week of December, downloads spiked to approximately 5.5K, up from 4K at the quarter's start. Revenue also saw an uptick, reaching around $22K in the last two weeks of December. Weekly active users grew from roughly 49K in the last week of December, compared to 48.6K at the beginning of the quarter.

Despite not generating significant revenue, Skate Space's downloads and active users showed an interesting trajectory. Downloads peaked at around 5.1K in late October, followed by a rise in weekly active users to 11K towards the end of December.

Soccer Super Star, which had no revenue to report, still managed to capture users' attention with a steady increase in downloads, from a mere 12 in late September to over 5.1K by the end of December. Active users mirrored this growth, ending at approximately 14.2K in the last week of December.

Jump Dunk 3D by VOODOO

Released in December, Jump Dunk 3D quickly gained traction with a dramatic rise in downloads, jumping from 32 in its first week to over 14K by the month's end. Active users soared to 25.1K, showing a strong initial engagement.
